Bad Dog

Today started out as a bit of a rough day.  Beren was biting me a lot, and I was trying to get ready for my nieces to arrive since I was going to babysit them for a couple hours.  I ended up putting Beren in a "time out" area to calm him down for about 10 minutes while I got my nieces settled in.  Unfortunately, Beren got more upset and chewed on the wall.  :(  The rest of the time didn't really improve much with a baby that wouldn't sleep, a puppy that wouldn't listen, and a toddler that wanted attention.  In my tired, stressed out and confused state, I ran Beren outside to go potty and asked the kids to stay inside.  The toddler locked the door and couldn't get it unlocked, so I had to go around the house and go through the garage with the puppy in tow to get back into my house.  Did I mention it was a rough day??!!?!  Anyways, after the kids left, I was able to get Beren calmed down, and we even snuggled for a bit.  :)  The rest of the day went pretty well.  :)

Puppy and Cat

Beren and Penny are getting to know each other better every day.  Beren is making it more and more clear that he is interested in playing with Penny.  She smacks him when he gets too close for her comfort, but otherwise she puts up with him.  His attention span is very short, and he gets easily distracted.  :)

Car Rides and Bath Time

Beren rides in style and comfort!  Haha!  He doesn't seem to mind car rides now, but only as long as he gets his bed to sleep in.  :)  He was a great little companion today as we meet new friends and hung out at the church office for a bit.  :)

I also gave Beren his second bath!  He did SO much better!  He looked so sad to be in the water, but he didn't try as hard to get out.  He felt better after getting dried off.  Although he did complain the whole time I was rubbing him dry with a towel.  I think he would have preferred to run free and shake himself off.  I am sure it didn't helped that by that point, our cat Penny was clawing at the door trying to get into the bathroom.  She gets jealous when the attention isn't all on her.  Haha!  :)

Dog Stuff Holder

I am not sure what to call this, but I got inspiration for this project from Pinterest.  I LOVE the way it turned out!  It is so useful to me!  It is mounted right by our patio door, which is the door I use to take Beren outside.  :)

Car Rides!

Beren is learning to tolerate car rides.  I take him with me each day for a short drive, and he is enjoying them more and more!  :)  He is such a good boy!  :)

Car Show

We spent the day at a car show that was at our church!  Beren had fun hanging out under the food table trying to stay out of the rain.  :)

Beren makes it painfully clear that he can sleep anywhere, in any position!  He is so flexible!  I love seeing what happens when he can't keep his eyes open anymore!  He is so cute!  I also want to point out that Penny is photobombing more and more of my pictures of Beren as she continues to get more interested in him.  :)
