New Friends!

Beren met new friends who are staying for a couple days!  He is so happy, even though they are both small!

Comparison!

So these are a couple pictures I took today because it reminded me of a picture I took a few months ago!  Are you ready for the comparison??!!  Scroll down to check it out!!  :)

Is your heart melting like mine is??!!!  Beren was soooo tiny!!  As you can see, Penny isn't as annoyed by his presence anymore.  She has gotten used to him and likes to play with him.  :)

Neutered!

Beren got neutered!  He was a pretty good boy, but he freaked out when the vet tried to fit him for a cone, so I had to come up with another option.  That ended up being shorts!  Haha!  I had no idea what size to buy since he wasn't with me when I went shopping.  These were definitely the absolute tiniest shorts that would ever fit him, and I know the only reason I got them on him is because he was still drugged up.  Haha!  He was so happy to be home that he wouldn't go to sleep.  He tired to play ball, but couldn't walk or run very well, and eventually he gave up to snuggle with me.  :)

Bath with Penny

My little cutie does so good in the bath tub!  He is also learning to sit still for pictures which is awesome!  Haha!  Penny kinda freaked out that she was locked out of the bathroom while we were in it, so I opened the door and let her in.  She was glad to be with us and it made for a cute picture.  :)

I took so many pictures of Beren in his Halloween costume because he was just too cute!  This is a collection of what I took throughout our day.  He got compliments when we were out and about!  I really didn't expect that he would wear it all day, but he did!  He didn't even seem to mind it at all!  I think this is just the first of many costumes for him.  :)

In case you forgot, I have a pretty kitty named Penny!  She kinda likes Beren...  Haha.  :)

Penny likes to watch Beren as he plays.  Sometimes she likes to get involved with the playing.  :)  But she mostly likes to keep some space.  :)

I really enjoy watching the interactions between these two!  Penny is very interested in Beren and likes to be close to him, but she doesn't like when he gets too close.  :)

Puppy and Cat

Beren and Penny are getting to know each other better every day.  Beren is making it more and more clear that he is interested in playing with Penny.  She smacks him when he gets too close for her comfort, but otherwise she puts up with him.  His attention span is very short, and he gets easily distracted.  :)

Car Rides and Bath Time

Beren rides in style and comfort!  Haha!  He doesn't seem to mind car rides now, but only as long as he gets his bed to sleep in.  :)  He was a great little companion today as we meet new friends and hung out at the church office for a bit.  :)

I also gave Beren his second bath!  He did SO much better!  He looked so sad to be in the water, but he didn't try as hard to get out.  He felt better after getting dried off.  Although he did complain the whole time I was rubbing him dry with a towel.  I think he would have preferred to run free and shake himself off.  I am sure it didn't helped that by that point, our cat Penny was clawing at the door trying to get into the bathroom.  She gets jealous when the attention isn't all on her.  Haha!  :)

Beren makes it painfully clear that he can sleep anywhere, in any position!  He is so flexible!  I love seeing what happens when he can't keep his eyes open anymore!  He is so cute!  I also want to point out that Penny is photobombing more and more of my pictures of Beren as she continues to get more interested in him.  :)

"Accidents"

Penny barfed 3 times, Beren barfed once, and Beren had one accident. I have cleaned up a lot of messes in the last couple hours. But I still love these two!! I would also like to point out that the 7 year old cat is having more "accidents" than the 7 week old puppy. Hahaha. :)

Beren and Penny Getting to Know Each Other

These two are getting to know each other more and more each day!  I love seeing Penny's curiosity and acceptance as she isn't hissing at Beren much anymore.  I also love seeing Beren getting less scared of her.  I hope they learn to get along quickly!  I would love for them to actually be friends and not just tolerate each other, but we will just have to wait and see!  :)
