Kira's Gotcha Day!

 8 years ago, Joe and I brought home Kira to join our family!  I found an ad for her on craigslist, and we drove about an hour to get her.  I'm so glad we found her!  She's basically the perfect cat.  Her biggest strike against her is that she's been slowly destroying our couch, chair, carpet, etc.  But like I regularly remind Joe, that's okay, because we love her.  😅😇

During the day, Kira loves to sleep in my lap while I work or in the hammock in the window nearby.  When I go to bed, she's pretty quick to curl up right next to me.  In the morning and evenings, she's typically off by herself as those times are when Arien is wanting my attention.  She's been such a good big sister to Arien, although just like any sisters, they definitely get into their little fights.  😂

I made this cute party hat to celebrate, but Kira didn't really want to wear it.  She was being quite uncooperative until I bribed her with treats.  Doesn't she look so cute?!? 😍  I love Kira so much, and I hope we have at least 8 more years with her.  ❤

Cat Hoodie

I ordered a hoodie for Arien to wear since we noticed how calm and chill she was when wearing the donut.  I struggled to know what size to get and I ultimately choose to get a small after taking her measurements.  I was able to get it on her, but it was definitely quite small...  😂 

I ordered a medium from the same company, and it seems pretty perfect!  She doesn't walk normally in it, but she doesn't hate it.  She gets so loving and wanting so much attention whenever she wears it.  I'm glad I have this on hand now to put on her whenever I need her to chill out if she's got a really bad attitude or calm down if she's feeling scared of something like the rain.  

My Cute Pumpkin

I took so many pictures of Beren in his Halloween costume because he was just too cute!  This is a collection of what I took throughout our day.  He got compliments when we were out and about!  I really didn't expect that he would wear it all day, but he did!  He didn't even seem to mind it at all!  I think this is just the first of many costumes for him.  :)
