Kitten had her first official photo shoot!  She is getting good at crawling and trying to hold her head up.

Apparently I am only capable of posting on this blog once a month. 😂 I hope to be able to post more often, but out of my 4 blogs, this one is the first to get neglected. However, I will probably have lots of new posts for you, just not of Beren or Kira...

I've been hand raising this kitten since Friday. She was born to feral cats dumped at my parents house. My parents discovered the kitten by itself Thursday and saw that her mother who was nearby needed medical attention, but they couldn't catch her and she left, abandoning the kitten. The mother hadn't returned, so my parents took the kitten on Thursday evening to the ACC to be fostered, but no one was available at that time and they were instead sent home with the kitten and supplies. They both had to work Friday and couldn't give her the care she needed so I brought her home that afternoon. Friday evening the mother cat finally returned and still desperately needed help. My parents were able to catch her and she went to the SPCA. I have estimated that the kitten was probably born September 1st. She needs care every 2-3 hours, so needless to say, I'm quite tired from lack of sleep. 😬 But despite the horrible start she had, she's doing quite well! 😊

I know it has been a long time since I have posted on here!  Beren and Kira are doing well!  Beren still doesn't like his picture taken which is why he looks uncomfortable and Kira hasn't gotten any smaller.  😂😂😂

Beren's 3rd Birthday

Happy 3rd Birthday to Beren!  He's my babe!  He's been such a struggle at times and yet he regularly manages to surprise me with how amazing he is, and how much he's matured.  He's been so much more expensive than we could have imagined thanks to having VSD.  I often worry that I am not doing enough for him, or that I push him too hard, but he's happy and from all outward appearances, he's healthy.  😂  He was nervous about this at first because he doesn't like his picture being taken, but he clearly warmed up once I gave him the okay to start eating his "cake".  I seriously can't believe how much I love this big dummy!  😊  Kira was watching from the sidelines and decided to see if any was left for her.  I also gotta say how much I love how well Beren and Kira get along.  I love watching them play together!

I had my camera out to take pictures of my hamster, Vilya, and I decided I should get pictures of Beren and Kira.  Kira seemed to like the camera, and as always, Beren wanted to avoid looking at it.  With these nice pictures, it's impossible to hide how derpy Beren looks.  His eyes are just so weird since they aren't lined up and he is blind in one eye.  The coloration of his face has also changed quite a bit in the last year.
