Stretching Out

My little guy isn't so little anymore!  He is getting very lengthy!  He loves stretching all the way out to take a nap!  :)

Last Shots!

Beren got his last round of shots today!  He was lonely and got bored while we were waiting for the appointment.  Eventually a hefty girl named Zoe joined us.  She was twice his weight but the same height!  Haha!   Beren did so well during the appointment!  Unfortunately, the vet thinks he is partially blind in his left eye.  :(  We noticed when he was about 6 weeks old that his eyes weren't lined up right, and thought that there might be a problem.  My husband and I have joked since the beginning that we got the "special" puppy.  Unfortunately, we didn't realize just how true that was.  But despite Beren's growing list of health issues, we love him so freakin much!  He is our good boy!  :)

Playing

Beren LOVES playing in the back yard!  He seems like he would rather live outside than in the house.  I have to convince him that it is cold and he needs to come inside to warm up.  Sometimes he gladly responds by curling up in the sun.  :)

Baths

Beren got a LOT of baths last week because he kept digging in the yard and getting mud caked on him.  Since those baths were unplanned, they were pretty rushed and I didn't get any pictures.  My schedule for bathing him also got messed up.  So yesterday night, when I noticed that some of Beren's fur felt rough and kinda dirty, I decided to give him a bath.  He feels nice and soft again!  I do think that parts of his hair still feel rougher because he is losing the puppy fur and getting his adult fur.  I guess we will have to wait and see!  :)

Begging to Play

This is how my derpy eyed dog begs me to play instead of work.  He is cute, but unfortunately he will have to wait another hour until my work is done so that I can play with him.  He is cute though...  Maybe just a couple throws...  I will still have time to finish my work even if I play some first...  :)

Playing Outside!

I took these pictures earlier in the week when the weather was still a little warmer.  Now that we have finished replacing some of our fence, Beren gets to enjoy being outside without being on a line or anything.  He loves the freedom!  Unfortunately, he has also started abusing that freedom by digging.  There are always so many things to teach him!  But he learns fast which is awesome!  :)

Getting Dirty

Beren LOVES playing outside!  He would rather be outside than inside, but unfortunately, he has started to do some digging.  I first caught him last week.  Thanks to the ground being so wet, he was caked in mug within minutes.  So of course, he went straight to the tub.  I am glad he likes baths!  I also can't believe how big he is!  Look at the way his head hangs over the side of the tub!
