Collar!

I switched Beren from a harness to a collar!  He looks SO grown up!  I know he looks calm in these pictures, but he initially was freaking out from the change.  Poor little guy.  :(  He is getting better every single time I take him outside though.  I am proud of him!  :)

Close

Beren likes to keep me close by, even if he is just taking a nap.  This is what happened while I was at the sink washing some dishes.  :)

Are you talking to me??

Beren is VERY easily distracted, so he doesn't always respond to his name.  This is especially true if we are outside.  I don't remember how many times I called him before he finally turned to look at me.  Haha!  Silly little boy!  :)

More Baths

I know I post a LOT of pictures of Beren in the bath tub, but I am so proud of him!  He is getting better and better at taking a bath!  He is fairly well behaved.  I think he almost even enjoyed this one.  :)  I also like how easy it is so see how much bigger he is getting when I have the tub as a reference and his fur is stuck flat to him.  He is getting so fluffy so it is hard to tell how big he really is!  

Crate Part 2

I want to spend a little time giving an update on the vet appointment we had yesterday.  Beren was awesome and so well behaved!  I was very proud of him.  Unfortunately, his veterinarian discovered that he has a heart murmur.  This was confirmed by another veterinarian.  They both felt that it is serious enough that we should take him to see a specialist.  So we are planning to get him to a cardiologist soon.  I was assured that there is a possibility that he could outgrow this since he is so young, but I am definitely not counting on that.  Hopefully we can get more answers from the specialist.  In the meantime, we appreciate your prayers!  

So back to this photo session, I was using a different lens for these pictures, and I think he was intrigued.  Maybe he could see his reflection.  I really don't know.  But I do know that he is cute!  :)

Crate Part 1

I think by this point in my little photo session with Beren, he was getting bored.  He didn't necessarily want to get up and play, but he didn't see the point in sitting still either.  But he is still super cute!!  :)  I am taking Beren to his second vet appointment later today (I wasn't there for his first one) so I am pretty nervous/excited to see how it goes and how he behaves.  Hopefully he doesn't make a mess or bite anyone.  Haha!  :)

Blue Blanket

As some of you probably already noticed, I changed the picture on the right.  :)  This is a continuation of the photo session I did with Beren last week.  He seemed to get the hang of it by the end.  He is seriously so cute!  I love that his blue eyes match the blanket!  Since I brought up his eyes, I will mention that I think they are in the process of changing colors.  They don't look as blue as they used to, and they seem to have hints of yellow/brown.  I guess we will have to wait and see!  :)
