New Plants, Blooms, and More

It's been a long time since I last posted here.  I haven't taken too many pictures like this in a while.  I realized that I have gotten quite a lot of new plants since I last took pictures, so I wanted to get some good photos of the new ones as well as some of my other favorites.  I also am enjoying my orchids blooming right now.  They all love that I moved them to our bedroom earlier this year and immediately worked on putting out a flower spike for me.  I've been having fun propagating various plants to sell in a Facebook group I'm in.  I am not doing it to try to make a bunch of money, but it is a nice way to recoup some of the cost of buying more plants.  Haha!  I think most of the cuttings I got are ready to be potted up now, so that is my plan for this weekend.  I have cute little pots that I 3D print which act as cache pots to the clear liners with holes that I use.  I'm gonna give them a few weeks in soil to make sure they are gonna be okay and then I'll be selling them for a couple bucks each.

Posing the Cats

 I was photographing my hamsters and thought I'd try posing the cats in the same scenes I made for the hamsters.  I feel like the hamsters were better behaved... hahaha!  The cats didn't want to sit still.

Seriously though, I really love my precious kitties so much!  And aren't they gorgeous??!

 

Arien

 I still treat Arien like a baby even though she obviously isn't anymore.  I do love when she wants to cuddle with me.  She however tends to pick cuddling with Joe when she gets the chance.  I gotta say, with how busy he is, I don't blame her for grabbing snuggles from him whenever he's home.

Water drops on Plants

I have 4 plants on moss poles and every week when I water the plants, I also mist the moss poles.  (Y'all don't come after me for watering on a schedule.  My plants are fine.  And if they can't handle weekly watering, then I don't want them anyways.  Haha!)  I loved the way the sun was shining through the blinds onto the freshly sprayed leaves and of course I had to get out the camera.  These are some of my favorite plants I own!
